As one of the largest milk quality laboratories in California, Dairy Diagnostics is designed to provide Central Valley Dairymen with all their microbiological testing needs. We follow National Mastitis Council guidelines and methods for detecting environmental and pathogenic bacteria of the bovine mammary gland in individual cow milk or commingled bulk tank samples. Our reports are user friendly and are readily adapted as a monitoring tool for any milk quality program. We are also one of the only Central Valley Veterinary Clinics with a laboratory capable of antimicrobial testing. This has proved to be an invaluable asset to our client’s bottom line. In addition to mastitis screening, we have also implemented several environmental assays for the detection of major mastitis organisms.
